From General Chemistry, Third Edition by Donald A. McQuarrie and Peter A. Rock
quote:
Funny enough, it gives a quite accurate description of the Cesium IMHO.
Very trickable, very playful, very ... reactive! I wouldn't store it in kerosene though The Group I elements (also called the alkali metals) - lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, and francium - are very reactive materials. They must be stored under an inert substance, such as kerosene, because they react spontaneously and rapidly with the oxygen and water vapor in the air. Because of their high reactivity, none of the alkali metals occurs as the free element in nature. The Cesium is a good entry level kite because it's forgiving and uncomplicated, but it's a lot of fun for more advanced pilots as well because it allows for some very fast combo stuff. And it does some amazing crazy copters Besides the trick abilities I was quite surprised by the kites precision. It cuts very clean corners and has good straight lines. It's also very solid, we were flying it in the gusty winds at Cap d'Agde (FWC) and the kite took a good beating without a problem. Suicidal 2 point landings, I love it. I don't know what the price will be in $$, but a fully equipped kite with yoyo stoppers & yoyo gliss (just like on the Transfers) + lines & straps AND uncompromised Atelier build quality for that price, that's just Wim SMEKENS (Belgium) |
